Hello, procrastinators! If you're in American school, you're probably celebrating a three-day weekend in honor of Martin Luther King Day. Ideally, you wouldn't have put off all of your homework for that evening, but let's be honest. I mean, after all, all I could think of on Friday was going straight home and to bed. Physics lab, begone!
Anyway, for the song of the week, I went with the same direction as my first week's song (a mid-2000s punk rock band-a growing musical interest for me) and picked a song by Paramore. I actually was struggling to pick between two songs (I love both "Misery Business" and "crushcrushcrush"), but finally chose "Misery Business" because I'd downloaded it on iTunes first. :3
Here are the lyrics (in which there is only word that may be considered offensive-progress!), and below is the music video, which I adored-unusual for me, because I usually don't hate a music video at best. But I found this one funny-it's very literal, which makes for a Mean Girls-esque video and...well, just go watch it yourself.
