(M-W's Word of the Day: Doctrinaire-attempting to put into effect an abstract doctrine or theory with little or no regard for practical difficulties)
Hi, guys! I have the PSAT tomorrow, and I actually want sleep tonight. I’m even blowing off homework to try to get 8 hours of sleep (something I don’t think I’ve ever attained in my three years in high school), so I’ve got to keep it brief.
Have you ever had writer’s block? I almost never do (that’s the advantage of having an overactive imagination, I guess), but when I am having trouble finding out what to say next, I skip the “writer’s prompt” websites (which are usually useless to me) and go straight to Yahoo Answers. I don’t try to find questions that are asking “What should I write next?”-I go straight to the Family and Relationships section, or the Singles and Dating section. I read a lot of interesting situations in that section, but even though a lot of them are really sad, that’s usually all I need to kickstart my imagination again. Sometimes I try to find as many similar questions as I can, so I can read all the answers and see which situations/suggested solutions work best for the story at hand.
Have you ever tried this? Does it work for you? Comment below.
Until then, I’ve got to go to bed. Wish me luck on the PSAT tomorrow!

I leave you with this.
